Description
This is a photocopy of the 1909 Herbert operetta Old Dutch which was opened November 22, 1909 at the Herald Square Theatre. Lyrics are by George V. Hobart with a book by Edgar Smith. At the time, Victor Herbert refused to talk to Smith – read more about this operetta in Vol 5 May 11 – Old Dutch. This production starred Vernon Castle and gave Helen Hayes her Broadway debut.
