Description
This is a photocopy of the Public Domain piano/vocal for Victor Herbert’s 1905 operetta Miss Dolly Dollars. The libretto and lyrics were written by Harry Bache Smith and starred LuLu Glaser as Dorothy Gay (Miss Dolly Dollars). It was the first of three operettas produced by Herbert in 1905, the other two being Wonderland and Mlle Modiste.You may read more about this production in the Vol 8 Aug 10 VHS Newsletter available in the users menu after you become a registered user of www.vhsource.com. There is a libretto available in the Libretto Section of Shop Vhsource as well as the individual songs, “Ollendorf Duet” and “A Woman Is Only A Woman but A Good Cigar Is A Smoke” in the Individual Song Section.
The lower price for this piano/vocal is due to the original missing one page (46) and having a number of pages showing cut marks which do not obscure notes, but are aggravating. If you decide to purchase this document, you will be sent a clean, complete version as soon as VHSource is able to correct the involved pages. We cannot guarantee at what time that will happen.
