There are two types of librettos in this area: Photocopied and Clean Typed. Photocopied materials are from the original material and is often tough to read. Should you be purchasing an original libretto so you can work on improving it yourself, it will need to be typed again and rough guesses made on some pages. These are out of copyright and in the Public Domain. So you are free to alter them as you wish. This is the first time the general public has access to original librettos for the theatrical works of Victor Herbert. They were created by various authors including Harry Bache Smith, Henry Blossom, Rida Johnson Young, Fred DeGresac and numerous others. Public Domain, photocopy of complete original 1908 operetta extravaganza Little Nemo based on the Comic Strip by the same name created by Winsor McCay. It centers around a little boy, Nemo who has wildly extravagant adventures in his dreams. This libretto is by Harry B. Smith and is very rare hence the higher price on this piece.
