Photocopy of the 1912 piano/vocal score for Victor Herbert’s Lady of the Slipper, his Cinderella. The operetta starred David Montgomery & Fred Stone, Elsie Janis, Vernon Castle and a very young Peggy Wood as a maid. The libretto was written by Anne Caldwell and Laurence McCarty with lyrics by James O’Dea. The work was produced by Charles B.Dillingham and opened on October 28, 1912 at the Globe Theatre.
