Description
This is a photocopy of original piano vocal score for the 1899 Victor Herbert operetta The Ameer commissioned and performed by vaudeville comedian Frank Daniels. This operetta was profitable for Daniels — he toured it for a full two years after a relatively poor showing on Broadway. The production opened on December 4, 1899. It was also the third is a series of four Herbert operettas which opened between October 1, 1899 and February 15, 1900.
