This is a photocopy of the prompt book for Herbert's The Debutante which opened on December 7, 1924 at the Knickerbocker Theatre in New York City. While this is not a particular strong libretto, it is the first time Victor Herbert wrote an operetta with a more contemporary, modern feel. It's best song is "All For The Sake of The Girl." This libretto is hard to read in places. |
