This is the Public Domain piano/vocal for the song “Absinthe Frappe” from Herbert's 1904 operetta It Happened In Norland. It is sung by Prince George, the reluctant suitor scheduled to marry Queen Else whether he wishes to or not. It's a solo with chorus in the key of C with a range from low B flat to E - high baritone or tenor role. One of the more well known Herbert songs. |
